Henley Beach → Nairne
Starting at idyllic seaside suburb Henley Beach (hosting a stage start for the first time), this is no holiday - punchy climbs await. Wickham Hill comes early at 32km, followed by Chandlers Hill. Mount Barker Summit with less than 5km to the finish provides the final test. First-ever stage finish in the Mount Barker Council town of Nairne.

When to tune in
This is the Adelaide Epic Ride route for public participants. Wickham Hill's 11% max gradient is punishing early on. The Mount Barker climb is short but could still cause damage on tired legs. Sprinters may survive if their teams control the pace - watch for a potential bunch sprint in Nairne.
