Lucens - Leysin
The final and only mountaintop finish of the 2026 Tour de Romandie. The 178.2km journey begins on the banks of the Broye River in Lucens. The first 70km feature four uncategorised climbs and two category 3 ascents (Sottens and Vuillens). An intermediate sprint at Chardonne brings the race close to Lake Geneva before heading inland for another climb at Châtel-St-Denis. The finale: the climb to Leysin with 15.6km remaining, with the bulk covering 10.9km at 6.7% average.

When to tune in
THE GC-deciding stage. The Leysin summit finish has historically produced dramatic race-winning moves - most famously Juan Ayuso's 2024 GC collapse. Tune in for the final 60km when the race hits Châtel-St-Denis; the final 10.9km climb is destination viewing. Disable YouTube autoplay - the finale is heavily covered in highlights.
