Stage 4
Broc - Charmey
Stage 4 packs heavy climbing into 149.6km. Both sides of Jaunpass are climbed: the shorter 5.6km side averages 8.3% with pitches at 10.3%, while the longer 8km side averages 7.8% with 9.3% sections. Between Jaunpass ascents the peloton loops through Gruyères, Les Moulins, and Saanen for the category-2 climb of Saanenmöser. A second Jaunpass ascent comes on the long side with 17km remaining to the finish.

When to tune in
Density-wise this is the hardest stage of the race - four major climbs in 149.6km. The final 17km after the second Jaunpass favours a strong descender or a small group with 10+ seconds of advantage. Expect the GC to be reshuffled here before the Leysin finale.
