Villars-sur-Glâne
A 3.2km loop around Villars-sur-Glâne opens the 2026 Tour de Romandie. Two 90-degree turns on the approach to the finish line are the only obstacles on paper, while unpredictable spring weather in Switzerland could become a factor. Historically the Romandie prologue is decided in fractions of a second, though Rohan Dennis's 9-second margin in 2021 shows the stage can occasionally create bigger gaps.
