Clasica de Almeria
The Clásica de Almería is a 189km one-day race in Spain's southern Andalusia region. The course includes several category 3 and 4 climbs (Alto de Celin, Alto de La Alqueria, Alto de Fuente Marbella) but these are positioned far enough from the finish that the race typically concludes in a bunch sprint in Roquetas de Mar.

When to tune in
A classic early-season sprinter's race in warm Andalusian sunshine. While the climbs can be used to fatigue the peloton, well-organized sprint teams typically control the finale. Recent winners include fast men like Fretin, Kooij, and Ewan.
